Insights from The Sage Business Index released last week show that 42 percent of the 2,026 South African businesses surveyed reported an increase in revenue over the past six months, with a further 25 percent remaining steady. The Index, which aims to reveal a definitive landscape for small business confidence, concerns and challenges, surveyed just over 10,000 businesses across Europe, North America, South Africa and Asia at the end of July and August this year.
